Spaghetti with pizzazz

Yield: 2 servings

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Beef, ground
4 ounces Tomato paste
1 cup Water
¼ cup Green pepper; diced
¼ cup Onion; minced
1 \N Bay leaf
½ teaspoon Garlic salt
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
¼ teaspoon Chili powder
¼ teaspoon Hot sauce
2 ounces Mushrooms, sliced; drained
\N \N Spaghetti; hot, cooked

Cook ground beef until browned, and drain well; stir in tomato paste and water. Bring to a boil, and stir in next 8 ingredients. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 40 minutes, adding water as needed.

Stir in mushrooms, and simmer 5 additional minutes; remove bay leaf.

Serve over spaghetti.
