½ pounds | Beef, ground |
4 ounces | Tomato paste |
1 cup | Water |
¼ cup | Green pepper; diced |
¼ cup | Onion; minced |
1 \N | Bay leaf |
½ teaspoon | Garlic salt |
¼ teaspoon | Salt |
¼ teaspoon | Pepper |
¼ teaspoon | Chili powder |
¼ teaspoon | Hot sauce |
2 ounces | Mushrooms, sliced; drained |
\N \N | Spaghetti; hot, cooked |
Cook ground beef until browned, and drain well; stir in tomato paste and water. Bring to a boil, and stir in next 8 ingredients. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 40 minutes, adding water as needed.
Stir in mushrooms, and simmer 5 additional minutes; remove bay leaf.
Serve over spaghetti.
