Yield: 6 Servings
|2 tablespoons||Mazola oil|
|Crushed chillies to taste|
|½||51/2oz size can tomato paste|
|19 ounces||Can tomato juice|
|½ teaspoon||Soda or sugar|
Put oil, basil, garlic and chillies in pot on low heat to warm then add tomato paste, tomato juice and soda or sugar. Make meatballs: 1lb. hamburg, 1 clove garlic chopped, salt & pepper and pinch of basil and 1 egg, mix well and make into small balls and add to sauce.
Cook on low heat for about three hours.
