Southwest steak kabobs

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
¼cupMargarine or butter, melted
¼cupChopped fresh cilantro
½teaspoonCumin
¼teaspoonGarlic salt
½teaspoonHot pepper sauce
2eachesEars fresh sweet corn, husked, cut into 4 pieces
8eachesPickled sweet red cherry peppers
1poundsBoneless beef sirolin steak, cut into 1\" cubes

Directions

Heat grill.

In small bowl, combine margarine, cilantro, cumin, garlic salt and hot pepper sauce; mix well.

Alternately thread corn, peppers and beef cubes onto four 12-14" metal skewers.

When ready to grill, place kabobs on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4-6" from medium coals.

Cook 7-8 minutes or until corn is tender and beef is of desired doneness, turning once and brushing frequently with margarine mixture.
