Sonora cheese dip

Ingredients

| 2 | cups | Monterey Jack cheese; shredded |
| 2 | cups | Mild cheddar cheese; shredded |
| 6 | Green onions; sliced | |
| ⅔ | cup | Sweet red pepper; finely chopped |
| 2 | tablespoons | Jalapeno peppers, seeded; finely chopped |
Directions
Melt together cheeses in the top of a double boiler over simmering water for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in green onion, red pepper and jalapeno pepper.
Serve hot with tortilla chips.
