Smothered cabbage rue chartres

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Small onion, chopped
¼ pounds Salami OR hot sausage
1 \N Head cabbage, coarse chop
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Pareve margarine

Saute' onion and meat in margarine. Add cabbage (with water still clinging to leaves from washing), salt, and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat for abt. 2 hrs.
