Slow cooker chicken

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Whole chicken, skinned (unless you want all that fat), about seven pounds (or bigger or smaller depending on the size of your slow cooker, adjust other ingredients accordingly)
1 cup Water
1 medium Onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Salt
1 tablespoon Pepper
7 ounces Chopped canned mushrooms (fresh would be better)
1 teaspoon Soy sauce
¼ cup Red cooking wine
1 tablespoon Garlic powder

Put the whole works into a slow cooker, making sure to put some of the mushrooms and onions into the cavity of the bird. Cook for about 5 hours on medium heat.
