Simple coconut dessert squares

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 packs Home-style fluffy white frosting mix; (7.2-ounce)
cup All-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Milk
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine; melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
3 larges Eggs
1⅓ cup Flaked coconut
2 tablespoons Chopped maraschino cherries; (optional)

Directions

Beat together frosting mix and next 6 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer 2 minutes or until well blended. Stir in flaked coconut and, if desired, chopped maraschino cherries. Pour mixture into a greased and floured 13- x 9-inch pan.

Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes; cover with aluminum foil, and bake 5 to 10 more minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cut into squares. Serve warm. Makes 12 to 15 servings.
