Shrimp a la sherry

Ingredients

2poundsFresh shrimp; peeled and deveined
2mediumsOnions; chopped
2Cloves garlic
1tablespoonParsley; chopped
½cupSherry wine
1canWhole tomatoes
Salt & pepper to taste
1dashPepper sauce; optional

Directions

Brown onion and garlic in cooking oil. Remove garlic; add shrimp. Cover and cook until shrimp turn pink. Add tomatoes, parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Add sherry about 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8.
