Yield: 4 Servings
|¼ cup||Butter or margarine|
|5 mediums||Onions;, sliced thin|
|½ teaspoon||Freshly ground black pepper|
|¼ cup||Grated Parmesan cheese|
|1 dash||Ground nutmeg|
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook until onions are soft, about 5 to 8 minutes. Add sherry.
Increase heat and cook quickly about 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and nutmeg. Serve at once with grilled steak.
