Herbed onions

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
4 Med onions; peeled and quart
¼ cup Chopped mushrooms
3 Tomatoes; peeled seeded chop
1 Clove garlic; mashed through
½ teaspoon Sage
½ teaspoon Basil
1 tablespoon Minced celery leaves
¼ cup Defatted chicken or vegetabl

Toss all of the ingredients into a round, medium sized casserole dish and combine well. Cover and microwave on full power until the onions are just tender, about 5 minutes. Let the onions stand for 3 minutes before lifting the cover nd serving. The onions are even tastier when reheated and eaten the second day. Great as a side dish to turkey or roast pork.
