Sherry saffron vinaigrette

teaspoonCrumbled saffron threads
2tablespoonsSherry vinegar (available at specialty foods shops and some supermarkets)
1teaspoonMinced pimiento-stuffed olive
cupOlive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a bowl whisk together the sugar, the saffron, the vinegar, the olive, and salt and pepper to taste, add the oil in a stream whisking and whisk the vinigrette until it is emusified. Makes about ½ cup.
