Sherbert ice cream

Ingredients

quart Sugar, heaping
8 ounces Evaporated milk
4 Oranges, juice of
3 Lemons, juice of
1 quart Heavy cream
1 can Pineapple, small, drained
Milk, whole

Directions

Mix to dissolve sugar, evaporated milk, and juice of fruit. Add cream and pineapple. Put mixture in a 2 qt. ice cream freezer and top to line with whole milk. Source: Gwen Pitts Peter Case
