Sesame-honey chicken

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 Chickens cut in eights or 8 breasts cut in halves (I skin the chicken, but the recipe doesn't indicate one way or the other)
1¼ cup Honey
¼ cup Apple juice concentrate, undiluted
¼ cup Brandy
¼ cup Sesame seeds
½ cup Wheat germ
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 pack Onion soup mix
¼ teaspoon Pepper

Source: Jewish Living (Tishre/Cheshvan 5740) This was a suggestion for something a little different for Rosh Hashanah.

Mix honey, apple juice, brandy. Dip chicken pieces in mix and then in mixture of sesame seeds, wheat germ, flour and seasonings. Put coated chicken in nonstick sprayed pan and bake at 325 degrees F. for 1½ hours.

Serves 6 to 8.
