Scampi alla siciliani

Measure Ingredient
6 tablespoons Olive oil
4 \N Cloves garlic; minced
4 tablespoons Parsley; finely minced
1 pinch Pepper
1 pinch Oregano
12 \N Jumbo shrimp with tails; peeled and deveined

In a kettle put olive oil, garlic, parsley, pepper and oregano. Heat together 2 minutes; then add shrimp. Cover pot and steam shrimp over moderate heat until done (about 5 minutes). Serve shrimp on platter with cooking liquid poured over them. Serves 3.
