Rum-butterscotch sauce

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Firmly packed light brown sugar
½ cup Heavy cream
½ cup Butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Light corn syrup
2 tablespoons Dark rum

In small, heavy saucepan over med heat, bring to a boil sugar, cream, butter and corn syrup, stirring occasionally. Boil 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat; stir in rum. Makes 1⅓ cups.
