Rocky road cookies

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Margarine or butter
1 cup Semisweet chocolate chips
1½ cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Chopped nuts
½ teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Vanilla
¼ teaspoon Salt
2 eaches Eggs
48 eaches Miniature marshmallows

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Heat margarine and ½ cup of the chocolate chips in 1 qt. saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted; remove from heat and cool. Mix remaining chocolate chips, the melted chocolate mixture and remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press 1 marshmallow in center of each Bake about 8 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Cook on wire rack.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
