Yield: 8 Servings
|1 can||(28 oz.) whole plum tomatoes with juice|
|1 cup||Uncooked rice|
|3||Fresh jalapenos; seeded and minced|
|1 small||Onion; diced|
|2 tablespoons||Durkee® red hot sauce|
|1||Clove garlic; crushed|
Combine all ingredients in a kettle, breaking up tomatoes with a spoon.
Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
