Rice and peas #1

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Rice (up to)
1 pounds Peas
3 cups Water

1. Wash raw rice as for "Basic Boiled Rice #1" (see recipe), and place in a pan.

2. Shell green peas and mix with rice to distribute them. Then add water.

3. Cook as in "Basic Boiled Rice #1". Let pot stand, covered, 10 minutes before serving.
