Redcurrant sauce

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
150 grams Sugar
125 millilitres Water
140 grams Redcurrants

Put the sugar and water into a pan and stir until the sugar dissolves, then bring to the boil. Toss in the redcurrants, bring back to the boil and cook, uncovered, for 4-5 minutes or until the redcurrants burst. Serve hot or cold.
