Red wine and oregano marinade

Ingredients

| ¼ | cup | Finely chopped onion |
| ¼ | cup | Finely chopped fresh oregano or 2 tsp. dry |
| 6 | Cloves garlic; minced | |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| ¼ | cup | Dry red wine |
| 3 | tablespoons | Soy sauce |
| 1 | tablespoon | Extra-virgin olive oil |
| 1 | tablespoon | Red wine vinegar |
Directions
In blender container, combine all ingredients; blend well. Pour mixture over lamb chops, beef steak, or lamb or beef cubes for kabobs. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to marinate. Makes ¾ cup--enough for 4 servings of meat.
