6 SERVINGS DAIRY-FREE 30 MINUTES This microwave recipe for a spicy sauce or glaze for fresh pears is a quick way to serve them as a side dish.
COMBINE ALL ingredients except pears in microwave-safe 2-cup measure or bowl. Microwave on HIGH power until slightly thickened, 1½ to 3 minutes; stir twice during cooking. Place pears cut side up in round baking dish, with large end of pears toward outside of dish. Pour sauce over pears.
Microwave on HIGH SA to 6 minutes or until pears are tender. Serve warm.
