Raisin sauce

Ingredients

½cupRaisins, cut or chopped into small pieces
1cupSugar
½cupWater
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
2tablespoonsButter
3tablespoonsWine vinegar
Tabasco sauce (a few drops)
Salt & Pepper
1pinchGround Mace
¼cupRed Currant Jelly

Directions

Method: Dissolve sugar in water, then boil steadily for 5 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients and simmer gently until the red currant jelly has dissolved. Serve hot or cold with ham.
