Quaker's choc-oat-chip cookies

| 1¼ | cup | Brown Sugar, firmly packed |
| ½ | cup | Granulated Sugar |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Milk |
| 2 | teaspoons | Vanilla |
| 1¾ | cup | All-purpose Flour |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking Soda |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt, (optional) |
| 2½ | cup | Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, |
| Uncooked | ||
| 2 | cups | Semi-sweet choolate morsels |
| 1 | cup | Nuts, coarsely chopped - |

Directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat margarine & sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, baking soda 7& salt; mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels & nuts; mix well. Drop by rounded measuring Tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a cchewy cookie or 12 to 13 minutes for a ccrispy cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
