Prune whip cake

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Flour
1½ cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ teaspoon Allspice
½ cup Shortening
½ cup Prune juice
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ cup Milk
2 Eggs

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, soda,salt and spices. Add shortening, add prune juice and milk, then vanilla. Mix well then add the eggs and mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan or 13 x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes
