Prune cake 2

Yield: 10 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Shortening
1½ cup Sugar
3 Eggs
2 cups Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Nutmeg
½ teaspoon Allspice
1 cup Milk
1 cup Prunes; cook in water 20 min
½ cup Walnuts
½ cup Apple

Cream shortening, sugar, and add eggs. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, allspice. Stir in prunes, nuts and apples.

Pour in 9 inch square pan or 3 round tins.

Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
