|1 tablespoon||Matzo meal or cream wheat|

|6 tablespoons||Oil, margarine or crisco|
Grate potatoes, drain but not dry. Put back starch. Add grated onion, 3 eggs, 1 tablespoon cream of wheat, matzo meal, or flour and salt. Melt shortening. Add 4 tbs. to potatoes and leave 2 tbs.
