Measure | Ingredient |

4 cups | Mashed potatoes, hot |
1½ cup | Bread crumbs, fine |
⅔ cup | Bacon fat |
½ cup | Onion, chopped fine |
½ cup | Celery, chopped |
2 teaspoons | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Black pepper, ground |
½ teaspoon | Sage, ground |
1 \N | Egg, large, beaten |
Combine all ingredients. Turn into a greased 8 * 8 * 2-inch pan. Bake in a pre-heated moderate oven (350*F) 30 minutes or until browned. Serve hot.
