Plum relish

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Apples
4 mediums Onions
1 quart Vinegar
2 tablespoons Grated ginger root
2 tablespoons Cloves
6 pounds Plums, pitted
1 teaspoon Garlic salt
2 tablespoons Salt
½ teaspoon Red pepper
2 pounds Brown sugar

Pare and core apples. Chop apples, onions, and plums. Combine all ingredients. Cook slowly, stirring frequently, until thick. Mrs. J.F.
