Piedmont (lexington style) barbecue sauce

Yield: 1 servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Cider vinegar
½ cup Catsup
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Ground red pepper
⅛ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
½ cup Water

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool and serve on meat. Makes 1 Pt.
