Pickled pineapple

| ¾ | cup | Vinegar |
| 1¼ | cup | Granulated sugar |

| 6 | eaches | To 8 whole cloves |
| 1 | each | 4\" stick cinnamon |
Directions
Week or so ahead: Into saucepan, drain syrup from pineapple; add vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves, and cinnamon. Simmer, uncovered, 10 min.; add pineapple chunks. Bring to boil. Cool; refrigerate. Nice with poultry, meat, or fish, or as hors d'oeuvres.
