Petra's hungarian goulasch+

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
2largesOnions, sliced thinly
1Red pepper, cut in 1 1/2\" chunks
1poundsVeal or beef stew meat
3tablespoonsPaprika
Black pepper
2clovesGarlic, minced
½poundsMushrooms, quartered
½cupSour cream
Water to cover

Directions

Fry up onions and red pepper. Add stew meat and brown. Add paprika, pepper and garlic. Cover with water and add sour cream. Cook, covered, till meat is tender. add mushrooms and cook for 10 more minutes.

Serve wtih egg noodles or spaetzle.
