| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| 1 | cup | Shortening |
| 2 | cups | Flour |
| 1 | Egg | |
| 1 | cup | Persimmon pulp |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | teaspoon | Soda |
| 1 | cup | Raisins (dunk in wiskey) |
| 1 | cup | Walnuts - chopped |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground Cloves |
| ½ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and beat. Add all the rest. Drop by tsp. and bake @ 350 - 15 mins.
