Pecan squares

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Brown sugar
¼ cup Butter
1 each Egg
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Pecan meats

Melt butter, blend with sugar, add eggs, mix and let stand for few minutes, add dry ingredients sifted together. Stir in pecans, spread in greased pan. Bake and cut in squares.
