Pear-honey bake

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N 16 oz can
1 cup Buttermilk baking mix
⅓ cup Milk
3 tablespoons Honey
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine (1/4 stick), softened
½ teaspoon Vanilla
1 \N Egg
1 cup Chopped walnuts
\N \N Sliced pears

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-inch pie plate; set aside.

Drain pears well; dice pears; set aside. In a bowl, measure baking mix, milk, honey, butter, vanilla and egg. Beat mixture just until blended. Fold diced pears and walnuts into batter. Spread batter in pie plate. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Serves 6.
