Pear crumble

4 | Fresh pears, peeled, cored and sliced | |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
½ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
¾ | cup | Flour |
⅓ | cup | Sugar |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | cup | Butter |
¼ | cup | Finely chopped nuts |
On bottom of lightly greased 8 inch square baking pan, arrange sliced pears. Combine 2 tbsp flour and half the cinnamon. Sprinkle over pears. To make topping, combine ¾ cup flour, remaining cinnamon, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add nuts to topping mixture. Spoon over pears. Bake, uncovered, in 350 F oven for 30-35 minutes until pears are tender. Makes 6 servings.
