Pear jam

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2½ pounds Pears (still green and firm)
1 Orange
1 Lemon
¾ cup Drained crushed pineapple
5½ cup Sugar

Peal and core pears. Mix pears, orange and lemon (include rinds of citrus) in Cuisinart, until coarsely mixed. Put into pot, add pineapple and sugar.

Stir well, and bring to boil. Lower heat. Cook 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into hot sterlized jars. Seal, and turn upside down for 5 minutes. Turn upright and cool. Makes 9 six ounce jars.
