Peach bliss

teaspoonCornstarch
¾teaspoonLemon juice; freshly squeezd
dashCinnamon, ground
¼teaspoonAlmond extract
Cake, white or yellow; slicd

Directions

Drain peaches, reserving ½ cup syrup. Combine reserved syrup, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; allow to boil 1 minute. Add almond extract and peach slices; heat thoroughly. Serve warm over cake slices.
