Orange dressing with basil - al fresca

| ¼ | cup | Fresh basil leaves -- thinly |
| Sliced | ||
| Coarse salt | ||
| Coarsely ground pepper -- | ||

Directions
Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake. Let stand for 2 or more hours. Strain out the basil, if desired. Refrigerate overnight. Makes ¾ cup.
