Oatmeal raisin cookies

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Margarine; softened
½ cup Shortening
1 cup Brown sugar, lt; packed
½ cup Sugar
2 eaches Eggs
2 tablespoons Water
2 tablespoons Corn syrup, lt
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
⅛ teaspoon Ginger
1½ cup Flour; unsifted
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
3 cups Oats, old fashioned
1 cup Raisins

Cream marg, shortening, sugars, eggs, corn syrup, water, and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Beat well; stir in oats and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 deg for 15 min. Cool slightly on sheet before removing to cooling racks.
