Yield: 6 servings
|1 cup||Soft butter|
|2 cups||All purpose flour|
|½ cup||Confection sugar (powdered sugar) sprinkle of salt|
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Use 8 x 8 GLASS baking dish.
Cream together butter and powdered sugar until well blended. Add flour and salt. Mix thoroughly - dough will be stiff.
Place dough in ungreased glass pan. Put plastic bag over your hand, and press dough level over bottom of pan. Pierce all over with fork to prevent dough from bubbling. Bake 45 - 55 minutes until BOTTOM of dough is golden brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or regular sugar immediately after removing from oven.
Let cool 20 minutes in pan on rack. Cut small pieces (about 24)- let continue to cool. (I cut cookies in triangle pieces.) Store in air tight container.
