New age cream sauce

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Margarine
2 tablespoons Flour
2 teaspoons Minced garlic
2 cups Broth
½ cup Milk

Melt margarine over low heat, stir in flour, cook the roux a few minutes. Gradually add garlic and broth, cooking over medium heat until the mixture starts to boil and becomes thick. Stir frequently to prevent lumps. When sauce is thick, lower heat and gradually add milk. ~--
