Nancy's tuna salad

1 | can | (6 oz.) water-packed tuna; drained and flaked |
2 | tablespoons | Diced celery |
2 | tablespoons | Chopped red bell pepper or pimiento |
2 | tablespoons | Chopped green bell pepper |
2 | tablespoons | Chopped onion |
1 | Hard cooked egg; chopped | |
2 | tablespoons | Chopped dill pickle |
¼ | cup | Russian dressing |
2 | tablespoons | Mayonnaise |
Salt & ground black pepper to taste | ||
Lettuce leaves; washed and dried | ||
Chopped peanuts; (optional) |

Combine tuna, celery, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, onion, egg, pickle, Russian dressing, mayonnaise, salt and pepper; stir well. Serve on lettuce leaves and sprinkle chopped peanuts over the top, if desired.
NOTE: Can be made in larger quantities to take to church socials, etc.
