My mom's noodle casserole - butter busters^

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 each Pk (12-14oz) cooked and drained shells
1 can (16oz) whole peeled tomatoes
1 can (15oz) tomato sauce
1 medium Onion, chopped
3 eaches Tb flour
½ cup Liquid Butter Buds or fatfree chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups Grated nonfat Cheddar cheese

Directions

In a sauce pan, saute onions in liquid Butter Buds or broth. Add peeled tomatoes and juice; break apart with a spoon. Add tomato sauce. Pour a small amount of the sauce in a bowl. Add flour mixture to that bowl. When this is thoroughly blended, mix it in with the other tomato mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste and simmer until heated. In a 9½ x 13" casserole that has been sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray, layer sauce, noodles and cheese. Repeat with cheese on top. Bake at 350F. for 30 minutes. Per serving: 149cal., ⅗ g fat (4%), 0mg chol., 2g fiber, 7g pro., 29g carb., 390mg sod.
