Mulled wine sachets - bbc good food 1993

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 3-inch cinnamon sticks
2 smalls Pieces root ginger
Thinly pared zest of 1/2 lemon and 1/2 orange studded with 2 tsp whole cloves
Red wine
Splash of brandy; gin or port to serve

Make sachet, place ingredtients in centre of piece of uslin, keeping some to decorate. Draw up edges and tie with string and attach decorations.

Label with the following instructions and tie to the neck of a bottle of wine.
