Mulled red wine

Measure Ingredient
1 teaspoon Superfine sugar
¼ cup ;Water
5 ounces Red wine
1½ teaspoon Lemon juice
1 dash Orange bitters
1 pinch Ground cinnamon

Combine sugar, water in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Add wine, lemon juice, bitters, cinnamon; stir. Pour drink into a warmed 8 oz. mug. Mull with a red hot poker. Submitted By SAM WARING On 06-19-95
