Moravian mints

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Powdered sugar
12 drops Peppermint oil
12 drops Wintergreen oil
1 cup Water, boiling

Boil sugar and water until when dropped in cold water it forms a soft ball. Add the mint oil, remove from stove and beat until it thickens.

Then drop from spoon in thin patties on buttered or oiled paper. If wintergreen is used, color with red or green junket or food coloring.
