Measure | Ingredient |

1½ pounds | Young carrots |
8 ounces | Sliced apples |
1 ounce | White vinegar |
1 ounce | Honey |
1 cup | Water |
2 ounces | Butter |

Peel carrots and apples. toss in melted butter, add honey and vinegar and cook for 4 minutes. Add water and boil for 20 minutes.
Allow liquid to evaprate as much as possible. Season to taste.
