| 1½ | pounds | Young carrots |
| 8 | ounces | Sliced apples |
| 1 | ounce | White vinegar |
| 1 | ounce | Honey |
| 1 | cup | Water |
| 2 | ounces | Butter |
| Salt & pepper | ||
Directions
Peel carrots and apples. toss in melted butter, add honey and vinegar and cook for 4 minutes. Add water and boil for 20 minutes.
Allow liquid to evaprate as much as possible. Season to taste.
