¼ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
⅛ teaspoon | Ginger |
⅛ teaspoon | Cloves |
1 \N | Large unpeeled apple; cored and cut into 8 wedges |
Combine the sugar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a small bowl and mix well. Press the cut sides of the apple into the spice mixture.
Place four wedges on a paper plate, cover with waxed paper, and microwave on high for about 45 seconds. Serve at once.
Variation: To make this in a conventional oven, place the wedges in a small casserole dish and bake, covered, at 250 for about 15 mins.
