Mayonnaise #2

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Powdered sugar
1 dash Black pepper
1 dash Red pepper
1 dash Paprika
1½ cup Cold vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Lemon juice

Beat together at high speed in electric mixer the egg, dry mustard, salt, sugar, peppers & paprika. Add the cold oil, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition, until ½ cup of the oil has been added & the mixture has thickened. Then add the remaining oil in larger quantities.

Last, add the lemon juice & beat well. Makes 2 cups.
