|½ pounds||Marshmallows (about 32)|
|5 cups||Kix or Cheerios|
Melt butter and marshmallows over hot water. Stir occasionally. Pour syrup over cereal in large greased bowl; stir gently to coat well. Pack into greased 9-inch square pan. Cool. Cut. Peanut Butter Marshmallow Bars: Make Marshmallow Bars except add ½ cup peanut butter to marshmallow. Kiddie Kones: Make Marshmallow Bars, except pack with greased hands into 12 greased custard cups, leaving centers hollow. Cool thoroughly. Remove from cups before filling with ice cream. Great fun for birthday parties, etc.
